What moves the number: unit type (standard, flushable, ADA), how often you need service, how many units you're renting, project duration, and site distance or access difficulty. On private property — including most construction sites — no permit is typically required. Permits generally only come into play when units are placed on public property such as sidewalks, streets or parks.

Headcount on a job site rarely holds steady. A site running ten workers during excavation can be at eighty during framing, then back down through finish work. Since OSHA counts are based on peak simultaneous headcount, unit counts need to move with it. Yes. Our units are fully self-contained and don't require water, sewer or electrical hookups.

We bring everything the units need and remove all waste at each service visit. For remote sites, long unpaved access roads, or projects without any utilities on site, we can also provide holding tanks. Desert and outlying sites are routine for our crews.

Units placed only on the ground floor may not satisfy OSHA if upper-floor crews can't reach them promptly — so high-rise projects usually need units staged at height as the building goes up.

OSHA has addressed this directly: if the only facilities are at ground level and crews working several floors up have no quick way down, the requirement isn't met. On tower and Strip renovation work, that means moving units up with the build and adjusting placement as the project progresses.
